Shared inventory

One inventory for the online store and the physical shop.

Retail inventory management for shops that sell online and in-store: add a product once. The online store, marketplace, social product links and Counter POS read that quantity. A walk-in sale and an online order should not need two notebooks.

What this is

Indi Andaz inventory is SKU-level stock on a single seller catalogue. You edit quantity in the Seller Portal inventory screen (or by SKU on import). Offline sales on Counter and online orders draw from the same connected product. The purpose is fewer duplicate entries, less stock mismatch, and less overselling risk. This public page explains that idea. The live stock numbers stay behind login at /inventory.

Who it is for

Shops that sell the same item in the offline store and the online store, and are tired of subtracting stock in two places.

How it works

  1. 1

    Create the product

Add the item in Products. Variants get their own SKUs when you use colour, size or fabric.

  2. 2

    Set quantity

Update stock per SKU on Inventory. Low-stock alerts can fire at 5, 10, 20 or 50 units — you pick the threshold.

  3. 3

    Sell on any connected channel

Online store, marketplace (Active product, approved seller), social product link, or offline store on Counter.

  4. 4

Let the sale update the number

An offline sale on Counter reduces the connected product. The next online checkout sees the updated quantity.

Why shops usually mess this up

The online store says 8 pieces. The offline store sold 3 in the afternoon. By evening someone places an online order for a size that is already gone. Shared inventory is there so the offline store and the online store are not two different truths.

What Counter does to stock

A connected product sold in the offline store on Indi Andaz Counter updates the same catalogue the Seller Portal and online store use. That is POS and ecommerce inventory sync — not a second stock file for the shop.

In plain words

  • Stock is per SKU, including variants.
  • Bulk import can update existing products by SKU.
  • Seller-created categories appear on your storefront, not as a site-wide marketplace category list.
  • This page does not show anyone else’s inventory.
