Payouts

Seller ledger and payouts — what came in, what went to the bank.

After an online sale, you do not “get the MRP in your pocket tonight”. The ledger shows item price, platform fee, delivery, GST on fee and TCS when they apply. Payouts go weekly by default to a PayU-verified bank account or UPI ID.

What this is

Seller money tools: Ledger (/ledger) is the statement of money in and out with a per-order breakdown. Payouts (/billing) cover settlements, clawbacks, TCS and history. Default cycle is weekly. Destination is bank account + IFSC + name, or UPI ID, verified by PayU before save. Public pages never show another seller’s balances.

Who it is for

The person who asks “kitna aaya, kitna kata, kab bank mein jayega?”

How to read one order

Start from product price. Subtract the platform fee (not shipping). Subtract Delhivery when it applied. Then look at tax lines. The net is what the ledger is trying to tell you — before weekly payout rules and any return clawback.

Where you type the bank

Seller Portal settings. Bank account or UPI. PayU must verify it. Wrong IFSC is a settings problem, not a “ledger bug”.

In plain words

  • Default payout cycle: weekly.
  • Online fee: 5% of product price on Standard. Delivery separate.
  • Ledger copy: you get about item price − our fee − delivery cost.
  • GST on fee and TCS/tax lines appear when they apply.
  • Payout stages you may see include pre-shipment, in transit, return window, on ledger, settled pending payout rules, prepaid pending, RTO.

Questions sellers ask

When is the default payout?+

Weekly, after the order has cleared the ledger and payout rules (including return window where those rules apply).

Why is shipping in the breakdown?+

Because delivery is not inside the 5%. The ledger keeps fee and courier cost on different lines.
