Your domain

An online store on a domain you already own.

Connect a domain you own to your Indi Andaz store. This is custom-domain / DNS mapping, not a domain transfer — you keep owning the domain. Products, inventory and checkout stay the same. Disconnect and the default storefront URL comes back.

What this is

Custom domain on Indi Andaz means pointing a domain you own at your branded seller storefront. In settings you add the hostname, publish the DNS records we show, then verify. Status is pending, verified, or failed. Checkout, orders and inventory stay inside the same seller account. Instagram product links can use the verified domain.

Also called: Online store with own domain · Ecommerce custom domain · Branded URL

Who it is for

Sellers who already printed a .in or .com on bags and want that link to open the shop.

How it works

  1. 1

    Publish the store first

You can sell on the default branded URL while DNS is not ready.

  2. 2

    Add the domain in settings

Seller Portal → store / settings → custom domain. Create the request.

  3. 3

    Change DNS at your registrar

Copy the records Indi Andaz shows. Wait for DNS. Click verify.

  4. 4

    Use or disconnect

Verified = customers can open your host. Disconnect = fall back to the default storefront URL. Failed = fix the records and verify again.

What stays the same after you connect it

Products, stock, coupons, UPI/card/COD checkout, Delhivery orders, Counter bills. Only the public hostname changes.

In plain words

  • Verification states: pending, verified, failed.
  • A custom domain does not clone inventory.
  • Social product links prefer the custom domain when it is connected.

Questions sellers ask

Do I have to connect a domain on day one?+

No. Every seller gets a branded storefront URL first.

What if verification fails?+

DNS is usually late or typed wrong. Fix the records, wait, verify again. Or disconnect and keep the default URL.
