Catalogue

One stock book after login — and coupons that checkout already understands.

Inventory is not a second spreadsheet. It is the same catalogue quantity the online store, marketplace listings, social product links and Counter use. Coupons sit next to it in the sidebar because they change what the buyer pays on that stock.

After login you use

These are private Seller Portal screens. They are not in the public sitemap. This article only explains what they do.

  • Inventory
  • Coupons

How to do it

  1. Step 1

Watch low stock from Home and Inventory

Home alerts and Inventory both exist so a popular size does not silently hit zero.

  2. Step 2

Edit the variant qty, not a guess on paper

Save from Inventory or from the product editor. Bulk import can also update rows when SKU matches.

  3. Step 3

Create coupons with dates and a cap

A code without a usage limit or end date is how shops over-discount. Set both.

Inventory screen

The private /inventory route is a low-stock working list. Set a threshold (default 10), edit quantities per variant, save. Public /inventory-management only explains shared stock. It never shows your live numbers.

Why it stays in sync

A connected SKU sold on the store or at Counter updates the same quantity. You do not maintain a website stock file and a shop notebook as two sources of truth.

Coupons

Create a code: percentage or flat ₹, description, optional images, minimum order, maximum discount cap, usage limit, valid-from / valid-until, active switch. Checkout on the branded store applies the coupon. This is not a WhatsApp discount you honour by memory.

What this is not

  • Not a warehouse WMS for 3PLs.
  • Not a claim that Counter works fully offline without internet.

FAQ

Why are there two inventory URLs?
/inventory-management is the public explanation. /inventory is the signed-in stock screen (noindex). Do not confuse them.
