Money & POS
Walk-in billing and shop customers — same seller, same stock.
Store POS and store customers live in the signed-in sidebar under payouts and growth. They are for the physical shop. Online orders stay under Orders. Counter App is the Android POS you use at the till.
After login you use
These are private Seller Portal screens. They are not in the public sitemap. This article only explains what they do.
- Store POS
- Store customers
How to do it
Step 1
Use the same products you already added
Do not create a parallel shop SKU list.
Step 2
Add a customer when you need dues or GSTIN
Udhar and GST invoices are easier when the phone number already exists.
Step 3
Prefer Counter at the till
The Android Counter app is built for the counter. Use the browser POS when you are at the desk.
Store POS in the browser
Open Store POS when you need shop billing from the laptop: GST invoice flow, barcode, Cash / UPI / Card / Udhar / Split, the same catalogue. A connected SKU billed here updates the quantity the online store uses. Do not describe this as offline-without-internet software.
Store customers
Save walk-in customers: name, phone, email, address, GSTIN. Each row can show bill count, total spent and last bill. This is the shop customer book — not the buyer accounts on www.indiandaz.com.
Portal vs Counter App
Counter App on a phone or tablet is the physical-store POS for daily billing. Seller Portal Store POS is the browser counterpart on the same account. Partner App is for online orders, not the till.
What this is not
- Not Partner App (online).
- Not a consumer shopping app.
- Not a claim of offline-only POS.
FAQ
- Is there an extra Standard fee for Counter?
